May 24, 2017: Instructional Technologies Inc. Offers Cargo Securement Training for Professional Truck Drivers. Instructional Technologies Inc. (ITI), providers of a variety of training solutions for the transportation industry including the popular PRO-TREAD online driver training, today announced cargo securement training focused on open deck transportation companies will be offered at no cost in advance of the annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) International Roadcheck June 6-8.
Feb. 20, 2015: Ryder Driver Pushes PRO-TREAD Past the 7-Million Lesson Mark. Ryder System, Inc. driver, James Ekins, helped PRO-TREAD online training cross the 7-million lesson mark when he took Avoiding Fixed Objects last month. This milestone also shows the incredible growth of PRO-TREAD, the main training product of Instructional Technologies, Inc (ITI). It took only 311 days to go from 6 million to 7 million lessons, meaning an average of 3,215 lessons a day, just shy of 100,000 lessons per month. Another way to look at it: a new lesson is started on PRO-TREAD every 26.9 seconds.
Aug. 15, 2014: PRO-TREAD Meeting Increased Demand for Online Driver Training. Instructional Technologies, Inc., makers of PRO-TREAD, launched a major growth initiative with four hires in sales, account management, and content creation. The move comes in response to a major uptick in demand for driver training, especially custom training.

July 23, 2014: PRO-TREAD Makes Full Training Library Available on Mobile. PRO-TREAD rolled out its full library of truck driver courses via mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. At the same time, it launched four updated hazmat courses, a course on railroad crossing safety for trucks, and three courses on car safety for four-wheeled fleet vehicles. Instructional Technologies now offers 100+ transportation-specific courses that work on any computer, smartphone or tablet with a browser and Internet connection.

Moreover, the trend shows that more training lowers fleet CSA scores even further.
March 13, 2012: Pro-TREAD Serves Its 4 Millionth Online Training Course. Pro-Tread served its 4 millionth safety lesson on Feb. 23 at 3:55 a.m. when Shaw Industries driver Edgar Pabon completed the safety lesson on lift gates. Instructional Technologies, the company behind Pro-TREAD online driver training, hit the milestone just 16 months after cresting 3 million lessons and less than one month after recording its biggest single month in company history with 87,961 lessons.
